Product description

Redundant, scalable single-phase protection

The Symmetra LX is a highly available single-phase UPS. Its architecture is redundant and scalable, so capacity can match the load and a failed module does not take the load down. This 16 kVA rack-mount version is configured N+1.

Double conversion online

The load is always supplied from the inverter, with a sine-wave output. The UPS has an internal automatic and manual bypass, and an external bypass can be added as an option.

Batteries and runtime

The system uses maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid batteries with a suspended electrolyte, which are leakproof. Four battery modules are included, and the typical recharge time is 3 hours. Runtime can be extended with additional battery options.

Management

A multi-function LCD console gives local status and control, with audible and visible alarms prioritised by severity. The included Web/SNMP management card (AP9631), the RS-232 and RJ-45 10/100 Base-T ports and the Smart-Slot support monitoring and management over the network.
