Product description

Three-phase protection with batteries inside

The Smart-UPS VT is an effective 10–40 kVA three-phase UPS that protects mission-critical applications against downtime and data loss. This 20 kVA unit ships with its battery modules and power modules installed, so it arrives ready to connect.

Online double conversion

The inverter supplies the load continuously, so equipment never runs directly from the mains. The output is a clean sine wave with less than 5% distortion at full load, and the 3:1 crest factor accepts the peaks of electronic loads.

Maintenance and expansion

  • A built-in maintenance bypass lets the UPS be serviced without switching the load off.
  • A built-in static bypass transfers the load automatically if the UPS needs to be taken out of the circuit.
  • Parallel capability allows more capacity or redundancy to be added later.

Management

A multi-function LCD console shows the status and gives local control, and audible and visible alarms are prioritised by severity. The Smart-Slot takes the AP9631 network management card for monitoring over the network, and an RS-232 port and emergency power off are provided.
