Built for commercial and utility-scale PV
The second generation of the GoodWe MT Series is suited to medium and large commercial rooftops and ground-mounted PV systems where versatility and profitability matter. Its compact design and power boost function provide up to 150% DC input oversizing and a continuous AC output overload of up to 115%, for a faster return on investment.
Early start and wide MPPT range
The start-up voltage is only 200 V, lower than many other inverters, so the inverter starts earlier in the day and generates more power over time. Four MPP trackers cover a 200–1000 V operating range, with 3 / 3 / 2 / 2 strings per tracker.
Efficiency and operation
The maximum efficiency is 98.7% and the European efficiency 98.3%. The inverter runs at full load up to 50 °C, and its operating temperature range is −30 to +60 °C up to 4,000 m altitude.
Protection and monitoring
String current monitoring, insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding, AC overcurrent, short-circuit and overvoltage protection and a DC switch are integrated, with Type II surge protection on both DC and AC sides. AFCI and PID recovery are optional. Monitoring is by WiFi + app, RS485 or optional PLC, and the IP65 enclosure suits outdoor installation.
